Hello, members. This is the rules for this site. Please read them and adhere to them. Any forum with special/seperate rules will have them posted in that forum.
When registering, please use an Asian or Asian-sounding/inspired name. DO NOT use the name of a Canon Character.
# [*] All names must be Asian or Asian-inspired/sounding
# [*] Names of Canon Characters in any way, shape, or form, are not allowed.
# [*] Non-Asian Names spelled the way it would be pronounced with an accent are not allowed.
# [*] Just because a name is used by an Asian person does not mean it is Asian in origin.
Towards Adminstrators/Master Benders, Global Moderators/Advanced Benders, Board Moderators/Warriors (Anywhere)
1)The Administrators of the site and the Moderators will take no tolerance for unfair behavior. You will be warned two times, and then action will be taken.
2) The Admins and Mods are here to make this forum safe for everyone on it. Please don't argue with them. It's okay to agree to disagree, but don't argue.
3) Don't be afraid to ask for help or give suggestions. That's what we're for.
Towards Fellow Members (In All Non-RPG Boards and OOC in RPG Boards)
1) Please be curteous. As I said before, It's always okay to agree to disagree, but please, don't argue. Either I or one of the Admins or Moderators will intervene if an argument or discussion gets out of hand.
2) This goes along with the one above, don't diss a member's way of thinking or views. We are here to have fun rpging, not diss someone's views or anything. Seventh letter: e. Same thing goes when discussing a topic, please, it's okay for someone to think differently than you. To each his own, remember?
Topics/Threads/Subjects/Boards
1) NO SPAMMING! This is a total no tolerance. If a post contains spamming, It will either be deleted or edited without warning. There is no reason to spam, so this is why this rule is so strict.
2) Stay on topic. Please post topics in the proper board. Your post will be moved/deleted otherwise.
3) Check the threads already in a board before you post your own. You never know if a discssion has already been started about it. (On the same note, all discussions about romance, characters, etc, have their threads, so new ones will be deleted/moved.)
4) Just so it's clear, NO SPAMMING! I said before, this is a total no tolerance. If you go off topic, spam, etc, your posts will be deleted without warning, and you will be banned eventually for this, so do not do it.
5) Also, if all you have to say is, "I agree," or "me, too", and you can't add anything else to your post, then we would rather that you didn't post at all. Please put in your own two cents and make the post longer.
6) This is in accordance with the above rule:
NO POSTS UNDER 300 CHARACTERS ANYWHERE!
It doesn't matter which thread you're on, which board you're on, you must add something to the converstion. If you're not in the RP boards, make your posts at least 300 characters. (This rule does not apply to the Games and Quizzes boards...)
7) No multiple posting allowed (double posting, triple posting, etc...) If you post, and then want to say something else, either edit your post, wait until someone responds, or wait a few hours.
8) DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT post in anything smalled than the default font size unless it is a character aside or sub-title. A lot of people have vision problems, and size one font is extremely hard to read. Any posts like this will be EDITED to default size. First offense will result in a warning, and further offenses will result in warning level increases, etc.
9) Similarly, DO NOT post in any font type other than the default.
Other
1) I consider this to be the most important rule of all:
MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS ARE STRICTLY FORBIDDEN!!
Any Admin or Mod that catches 2 or more accounts with the same e-mail address has my permition to delete one (if there is 2, 2 if there is 3 so on and so forth) on the SPOT and WITHOUT warning.
2) If you think you can get by the rule above by having similar e-mail address (ones with differnent sites after the @ sign) you're wrong. You will be asked, and then 1 (if there is 2, 2 if there is 3, so on and so forth) will be deleted if you don't reply within a certain amount of time.
3) Let me further remind you:
MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS ARE STRICTLY FORBIDDEN!!!!
4) Glow is not allowed by regular members. Glows are for admin/mods to edit posts with only.
5) If you do not post for a month, and you give me no reason as to why you are not posting, your account will be deleted. You can easily rejoin later.
6) No advertising is allowed on this site.
7) Feel free to make an introduction post in the Newbies Introductions forum. Members will greet you there, and make you feel welcome!
8) Your name must be exactly the same as your character's name. No exceptions. (So, if your characters name is Su Li, then that's what your name has to appear to be as well.)
9) Don't post in bright colors (yellow, lime green, etc...). It hurts people's eyes, forcing them to highlight your post to read it.
Concerning Avatars and Signatures
1) Avatars are to be no bigger than 100 x 100 pixels
2) Signature banners are to be no bigger than a total of 120,000 square pixels
3) NO HOTLINKING IMAGES! - hotlinking is taking an image directly from a site without uploading to an image server, such as Photobucket or ImageShack. Not only does this increase bandwidth for sites, but it is illegal
4) Anyone with Signatures too large will receive a PM and be allowed one in fraction, having until the next log-in session to change and/or delete their signature image. If it is not done, you will receive another PM informing you of an increase in Warning Level. A third offense could result in temporary suspention.
